June 10 marks the third anniversary of the launch of the “Silk Road Maritime” E-commerce Express Route. A total of 662 standard containers, fully loaded with cross-border e-commerce products and various other goods, were successfully loaded onto the vessel, which subsequently departed as scheduled for the Port of Manila in the Philippines. At this point, the “Silk Road Maritime” E-commerce Express Route container throughput has surpassed a total of 100,000 TEUs. A significant milestone in the establishment of China's first the "Belt and Road" international integrated logistics service platform, with an emphasis on maritime shipping, is the launch of the "Silk Road Maritime" E-commerce Express Route. This route facilitates a direct connection between Xiamen Port and Manila Port in the Philippines, enabling the delivery of domestic cross-border e-commerce goods to the Philippines in just two days. Since its launch in June 2022, the "Silk Road Maritime" E-commerce Express Route has successfully conducted 152 voyages, facilitating the movement of over 100,000 TEUs of container throughput. Notably, this route has enabled the export of 2,257,400 cross-border e-commerce items, which mainly consist of luggage, footwear, apparel, daily necessities, and fitness equipment.
