On July 22, Fujian Province's Xiamen-based AI Industry Park was officially recognized at the "CCAI 2023," becoming one of the three provincial-level AI industry parks. Located in the F Block of the third phase of the Xiamen Software Park, the park has a planned land area of 1.05 square kilometers and an R&D floor area of 953,000 square meters. It places a strong emphasis on the "4+4+6" modern industrial system of Xiamen City, focusing on expanding application scenarios and building clusters of advantageous and unique intelligent industries such as autonomous driving, smart security, intelligent transportation, and smart healthcare. The Xiamen-based AI Industry Park will fully utilize surrounding supercomputing platforms such as the Xiamen AI Supercomputing Platform and the Huawei Kunpeng Supercomputing Center, as well as technical support from institutions like the Xiamen Institute of Data Intelligence, Xiamen University, Huaqiao University, and Jimei University. Following the "1+1+N" model, it aims to expedite the creation of Fujian Province's AI Industry Park by developing an industrial carrier and a collaborative innovation center, building several large industry models relying on leading enterprises."
